We are fortunate to have access to a classroom set of laptops. With that great fortune comes great responsibility; thus, here's Mrs. Gillmore's edict.  Modifed from Mrs. Huff's class wiki.

Choral Reading:  Girls read purple; boys read green.

1. Always use your assigned computer. If it's not working, get permission from Mrs. Gillmore before getting a different computer. You are responsible for taking care of your assigned laptop.
2. Handle the computers with care!
3. Always double-check that they are on a solid, steady surface. Avoid putting them somewhere they might get accidentally knocked off.
4. Return them to the appropriate slot. Every time!
5. Put them in lengthwise so that charger in easily accessed.
6. Don't plug them in unless you are in 2A or 3B.
7. Don't put inappropriate STUFF on them--no lewd images on the desktop or anywhere else.
8. In general, save your files online, not on the laptop. They may get erased. :(
9. Use the computers--not to play or surf aimlessly--but to work on the task you're supposed to be working on.
10. Enjoy the tool, use it to learn, and reap the benefits of living in a 1-to-1 classroom.
