In 1945 7000 men and women were marched to the Baltic Sea were they were forced into the water and shot to death. Many other Death Marches took place when the allies surrounded the country of Germany. Many Jews were moved to German bases with little or no food at all. Death Marches took a major toll on Jews throughout the war. Throughout this essay you will learn about Death Marches and how they affected many Jews.

Killing of the Jews happened just before the Jews eyes when they were captured and sent to concentration camp. Concentration camp is a prison camp used to hold Jews during World War II and The Holocaust, but this essay will explain to you the rescue of the Jews from concentration camp.

In the years of 1933-1939 many things had happened during the German devastation. If you think persecution was bad during Hitler’s reign. Then just imagine how the people in the early stages felt. Pain was everything. Killing was most common. Blood was most seen. Loss was easy. Love was not enough. But I will show you detail for detail everything the Jews went through before Hitler went into his rage.

During the holocaust millions of Jews were massacred. But not just Jews were killed gypsies, soviet state, and the soviet communist party was killed in mass numbers. The mobile killing squads did the most damage and the most killing out of all the killing that was done to everyone. My topic is mobile killing squads they were vicious in killing they did not care how many people they killed as long as they are Jews. The ways I can explain them is this: people they killed, ways they killed, and regions they killed in.

During the time of the Holocaust the Expansion of the Concentration Camp System came along. From 1939-1942 is when this expansion took place. Many different camps across Germany controlled the Jews. As Germany conquered much of Europe in the years 1939-1941, the SS established a number of new concentration camps to incarcerate increased numbers of political prisoners, resistance groups, and groups deemed racially inferior, such as Jews and Roma (Gypsies). A few of the main camps included Gusen in 1939, Nuengammme in 1940 Stutthof in 1942.

“No need for the disabled,” they all say. The Euthanasia program was National Socialist Germany’s first program of mass murder, predating the genocide of European Jewry, which we call the HOLOCAUST, by approximately two years. The Euthanasia planners were quickly trying to extend the “killing program” to adult disabled patients living in institutional settings. One of the first steps was called “T4.”

After deportation trains arrived at the killing centers, guards ordered the Jews to get out and form a line. The victims then went through a selection process. Men were separated from women and children. A Nazi looked quickly at each person to decide if he or she was healthy and strong enough for forced labor. This Nazi then pointed to the left or the right the Jews did not know that individuals were being selected to live or die. Babies, young children, pregnant women, and the sick had little chance of surviving this first selection.

During the time of the Holocaust, Nazis murdered millions of Jews. Nazis slaughtered Jews because of their religion and because the Jews where not the dominate race. Ghettos were where many Jews lived during the Holocaust. These ghettos were located in many cities, but not every city had a ghetto. They were never meant to be more than temporary, but some existed for a long time.
